what are you eating?

“What are you eating, teacher?”
Sometimes asked.
Of course, I am careful because it is what I eat that builds my body.
I try to choose foods that contain as few food additives as possible, and buy vegetables with few pesticides.
“If you do that, you won’t have anything to eat.”
Some people say that, but if you are interested and looking for it, the price is not so high.
We don’t do yakiniku very often, but there are many kinds of yakiniku sauces.
If you look at the food labels on the back side one by one, there are a few items that do not contain additives.
And the amounts are almost the same.
Oil is made to be “pressed” as much as possible.
Pressing is the method of extracting the oil by squeezing tightly.
“Is that normal?”
You may think, but there are few oil that is squeezed by pressing.
Unless it says “pressing”, we use chemicals to separate and extract.
I try to buy pesticide-free vegetables as much as possible, but everything is difficult.
That’s where I use scallop powder.
It is made by crushing scallop shells into powder.
This helps separate pesticides from vegetables.
Fill a bowl with water, add an appropriate amount of this scallop powder, dissolve it, and then soak the vegetables in this water for a while.
After soaking for about 10 minutes, an oil-like substance will float on the surface of the water.
I’m trying to reduce the intake of pesticides in this hassle.
It’s not too expensive and it lasts a long time.
The above is simple, but it is what I am careful about every day.
However, there is one thing I recommend the most.
that is
“Eat positively”
is.
“delicious!”
“fun!”
“happy!”
and eat affirmatively.
“It looks bad for your health…”
“I know it’s bad, but I can’t stop…”
Don’t you think you’re eating?
Do you know what is called the placebo effect?
There is an experiment that says that about 20% of people who gave wheat flour as a headache medicine actually had an effect.
If you believe in the effect and drink it, it means that even flour is effective.
“It looks bad for your health…”
“I know it’s bad, but I can’t stop…”
If you think and eat it, the probability that the effect will actually appear will increase.
whatever you eat
“delicious!”
“fun!”
“happy!”
I recommend eating with this in mind.
