do you have knee pain?
“I’ve been in pain for years.”
If you say so, try changing the way you walk.
My recommendation is “ass walk”.
“Are you going to sit and walk on your butt?”
I have noticed something recently.
When people who complain of knee pain undergo a muscle test, most people find that the muscles in the buttocks (glutes) and back of the thighs (hamstrings) are stronger than the muscles in the front of the thighs (quads). I would say that it is overwhelmingly weak.
Initially, I told him that these muscles were weakening and asked him to do muscle training to strengthen them.
It may or may not have that effect,
Apparently it’s better to do muscle training than not to do it, but it doesn’t seem to be a fundamental solution.
So why are the glutes and hamstrings weaker than the quadriceps?
I haven’t used it on a daily basis.
Many people try to put their feet forward when walking.
“It’s natural to put your feet forward when you walk.”
Even on TV and in hospitals, it is said to “walk with your feet up so you don’t fall”, so it is natural to put your feet forward and up.
As a result, the muscles on the front of the legs, including the quadriceps femoris, develop, but if the tendency is too strong, it will lead to knee pain.
But in fact, the basics of how humans walk are different.
Instead of putting your feet forward, you walk by kicking them backwards.
Ultimately, kick the ground with your calves and toes and use the recoil to propel your feet forward.
In this way of walking, the power of the gluteus maximus, hamstrings, calves, and toes is mobilized during walking.
It will be a fundamentally different walking style from the conventional walking style that relies only on the power of the quadriceps femoris.
“But I don’t know the specific feeling.”
Until now, I have forgotten the original way of walking because it is a way of walking that relies on the quadriceps muscles.
There is only one thing to be aware of.
It is to be conscious of the buttocks.
Please walk while making sure that your buttocks are “good” when you are walking.
The image is a feeling of walking with a plump buttocks.
Until now, when I walked, my legs were in front of me, but when I can walk on my hips, my legs feel like they are behind me.
You can walk faster because you can use the power of your glutes, hamstrings, calves and toes.
Your stride will also be longer.
I tell my wife how to walk on the buttocks and have her do it, but it is very popular.
However, he said that he had muscle pain after 2 or 3 days because he hadn’t used the muscles until now.
I must say I didn’t use it that much.
Please start working on it today.
