Depression is said to affect about 6 out of 100 people.
It is no longer a familiar disease.
Do you or someone around you suffer from depression?
I was surprised to hear that 4 out of 10 people in the company of people who go to our hospital for depression are absent due to mental illness.
When I heard the story, I felt that it was a pretty black workplace.
There is no reason to work to the detriment of your health.
I told the person to work without overdoing it with a view to changing jobs.
There are people who can’t get rid of depression even though it’s not such a black workplace.
Why can’t I get over my depression?
There’s a reason why depression doesn’t go away.
Everything has a cause and an effect.
Characteristics of people who cannot cure depression
What would you do if you were diagnosed with depression?
“For now, I’ll take a break from work and relax at home.”
Isn’t there most of the people who say?
If you are diagnosed with depression, I think any decent company will give you medical leave.
Then, since you are absent from the company, resting at home will be your job.
So inevitably it will be natural to spend time relaxing at home.
Not so bad so far.
However, as this progresses, it becomes difficult to cure depression.
Some people go too far and start sleeping when they start taking it slow.
This makes depression hard to cure.
“What’s wrong with sleeping?”
That said, I’ve never seen anyone who sleeps most of the day feel better.
“Isn’t it said that if you sleep, you’ll be cured?”
It is certainly so.
But that’s only when you catch a cold or get injured.
Especially in the case of mental illness, if you sleep all the time, it will not get better, it will get worse.
So why is it that sleeping all the time doesn’t cure depression?
Because the sympathetic nerve does not rise
“Does depression come out because the sympathetic nervous system is too high due to work stress?”
I would think.
That’s why I’m relaxing to raise my parasympathetic nerves.
There is a catch here.
In fact, the sympathetic nervous system of depressed people is not so high.
This is because the sympathetic nervous system is at its highest when you move your body.
And this is the most important thing.
The parasympathetic nerve does not rise as much as the sympathetic nerve rises.
If you sleep all the time during the day, your sympathetic nerves will not rise very much, so your parasympathetic nerves will not rise very much at night.
So what depressed people have to do is be physically active during the day.
You can do gymnastics.
You can go shopping.
If you don’t feel like going out, it’s fine to hang around in your house.
It doesn’t matter what you do.
Try not to sleep anyway.
“It hurts to say that…”
For those who say, please just wake up your body.
Staying upright for at least half of the day will give you energy.
